O’Neill CVI students’ experiment: Astro Pi Challenge

O’Neill CVI students Jessica and Akshita

O’Neill CVI students Jessica and Akshita tested their coding and tech skills in the 2023 Astro Pi Challenge. Students from all over the world were asked to conduct scientific experiments in space by writing computer programs for the Astro Pis, special Raspberry Pi computers on board the International Space Station. Jessica and Akshita’s innovative experiment has been successfully launched on the International Space Station. The Astro Pi Challenge, in partnership with the European Space Agency and Raspberry Pi Foundation, provides students with the opportunity to run scientific experiments on board the Space Station.
