Regional and Provincial Skills Competitions

From May 1 to 3, students from schools across Ontario gathered at the Toronto Congress Centre to compete in the Regional Skilled Trades Contest. In early April, 39 students from the Durham District School Board qualified in the Skills Ontario Qualifying competition to determine who would participate at the provincial level.

Over the first two days, students competed in perspective categories such as culinary arts, carpentry (individual), TV video (teams of two), and welding.
